About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner in Duluth, MN. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan in an outpatient setting. The coverage is clinical only and ongoing, starting ASAP. The NP will manage acute and chronic conditions, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and maintaining accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR are key responsibilities.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active MN license or willing to obtain
- BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records using Epic EMR.
