About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner in Deming, NM. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting. The coverage period is from November 09, 2026, to February 05, 2027. The Nurse Practitioner will manage acute and chronic conditions, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Responsibilities also include prescribing medications, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining electronic health records using NextGen EMR.
Requirements
- Board Certified required
- Licensed in NM
- BLS, ACLS, ABLS certifications
- Experience with NextGen EMR system

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records using NextGen EMR.
