Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and strong documentation skills
  • BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in community health, outpatient care, or underserved populations preferred
  • additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and acute care
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes
  • Document patient encounters and outcomes using EMR systems
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with clinical best practices
