About The Position

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time, Monday-Friday, Family Medicine Provider Float position. This role will be based at our UHS Primary Care Upper Front Street site and will involve travel to assigned practices within a 30-mile radius, including Upper Front St, Greene, and Clinton Street Medical Centers. The successful applicant will cover patient panels for providers who are out on disability, FMLA, or vacation. Additionally, providers may perform acute telemedicine visits from their home base practice. UHS Primary Care Practices are Nationally Recognized by NCQA and are Certified Patient Centered Medical Homes. Our practices offer health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, patient education, and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses for patients of all ages. Requirements

• Board certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Current New York State license as an RN and Family Nurse Practitioner (for NPs).
• Current New York State license to practice (for PAs).
• Full-time availability, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Cover providers' patient panels while they are out for disability, FMLA, and/or vacation time.
