About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Family Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) in Olympia, WA. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting. The PA will perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, manage chronic and acute illnesses, and integrate behavioral health into primary care. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and support staff is essential for ensuring quality patient care. The average daily patient volume is 18, with a case mix including primary care and mental health. The position requires experience in primary care and comfort with mental health patients. The EMR system used is Epic, and there are multiple MAs, PAs/NPs, and office staff available for support.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Licensed in WA or Universal License (IMLC)
  • BLS, ACLS certifications
  • Primary care experience required
  • No new graduates
  • Comfortable with mental health patients
