About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Crescent City, CA. The role involves providing outpatient clinical services to both pediatric and adult patients. The coverage is for supplemental needs and is ongoing, starting ASAP. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The agency covers travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.
Requirements
- Licensed in CA
- Active DEA required
- BLS, PALS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar setting (panel management)
- Flu, TB clearance, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and Tdap immunizations/titers
Nice To Haves
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) required
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to a mix of pediatric and adult patients.
- Maintain a minimum patient volume of 18 patients per day.
- Manage chronic pain cases within the outpatient setting.
- Ensure timely documentation and chart closure within 72 hours.
- Collaborate with support staff including RNs and MAs to provide quality patient care.
