Family Medicine Medical Director - 4 day work week
About The Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our established outpatient practice. The physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. This role focuses exclusively on outpatient care in a collaborative, team-based environment with an emphasis on quality, continuity, and preventive medicine. Our offices offer onsite Family medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, X-Ray, and Behavioral Health. The typical patient panel includes adults and children 2 and above. Procedures may include annual physicals and wellness exams, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma), minor in-office procedures (e.g., joint injections, skin biopsies, wound care), and preventive care, immunizations, and health screenings.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active New Jersey state medical license
- DEA registration (or eligibility)

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients ages 2 and above in an outpatient setting
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform routine physical exams, preventive screenings, and wellness visits
- Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modification
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support staff to deliver high-quality care
