Requirements

  • Current CPR/BCLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service mindset with a patient-first approach
  • Solid computer and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse patient populations

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and guide patients through their visit, ensuring comfort and efficiency
  • Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and preparation for exams
  • Collect vital signs and patient health information (history, medications, allergies)
  • Perform point-of-care testing and handle specimen collection and processing
  • Support physicians and nurse practitioners during procedures
  • Communicate care instructions to patients and families with clarity and empathy
  • Handle patient calls and ensure continuity of care
  • Coordinate schedules and maintain smooth patient flow
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical systems
  • Process prescription refill requests (with provider approval)
  • Manage incoming medical records, lab results, imaging reports, and referrals
  • Perform inventory management and ensure clinical supplies are stocked
  • Maintain logs for medications, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Help ensure a safe, compliant, and well-organized clinical environment
