Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate Board Certified
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Telephone call triaged through MyNurse and shared amongst the providers. Call expectation is: Two weekdays per month; 5 PM – 8 AM
  • 1:9 weekend rotation; 5 PM Friday – 8 AM Monday
  • 1:9 holiday rotation; maximum one holiday per year
  • Minimal call volume
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • General family medicine procedures such as skin excisions, mole removal, lacerations, IUD, etc.
  • Convenient clinic location with onsite laboratory and imaging services
  • Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
