About The Position

Our client, one of Atlanta's well respected and liked Family Law firms, is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a highly regarded Atlanta family law practice. This is an opportunity to work alongside one of Atlanta’s most respected and well-liked family law attorneys while supporting sophisticated divorce, custody, and complex financial litigation matters. The firm offers a collaborative environment, meaningful client interaction, and a hybrid schedule with two work-from-home days each week. Salary range for this role is between $75K - $85K.

Requirements

Three or more years of family-law paralegal experience in Georgia, including pleadings, discovery, and domestic-relations procedure.
Proven ability to produce error-free court filings and meet strict deadlines under pressure.
Strong legal-research, writing, and document-organization skills tied to financial and custody issues.
Discretion, empathy, and professionalism when handling sensitive client information.
Proficiency with case-management software and e-filing.

Nice To Haves

Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, e-file, and serve pleadings, discovery, and motions within 48 hours of attorney request while maintaining 100% accuracy and meeting every court deadline.
Manage calendars and 20-plus active matters so no hearing, deposition, or statute of limitations is missed.
Draft correspondence, financial affidavits, and research memos that cut attorney preparation time and strengthen negotiation or trial positions.
Organize, Bates-stamp, and summarize financial records and evidence into ready-to-use trial notebooks and exhibit lists.
Conduct client intake, gather documents, and deliver timely status updates that keep clients confident and reduce inbound questions.
Coordinate witnesses, subpoenas, and courtroom logistics so hearings run smoothly.
