About The Position
A well-established Myrtle Beach law firm seeks a Family Law / Matrimony paralegal to join their growing practice!
Requirements
- 2+ years of SC family law experience
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent time management skills
- organized, and the ability to multi-task
- Proficient knowledge of computers and case management software
- Communicate well with others
Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, orders, etc.
- Prepare pleadings for filing and drafting certificates of service/mailing
- Maintain case files
- Assist in billing
- Assist with discovery
- Monitor county dockets
- Accurate calendaring
- Other support duties assigned by attorney
