About The Position
Campos Law Firm is looking for a highly motivated, driven, and proactive Family Law Attorney to join our team. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting clients through difficult divorce and child custody situations. Prior experience is not required; however, candidates with relevant experience will be strongly valued. Above all, we value empathy, dedication, compassion, and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
- Admission to the state bar in Florida and active legal license
- Excellent oral and written advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management platforms like Clio.
- English(Required)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a public defender or work in a government prosecutor’s office. (highly valued but not required).
- Interest or knowledge in Family Law.
- Spanish (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Develop effective legal strategies for case defense.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and essential legal documents.
- Advise clients on legal processes and expectations.
- Collaborate with the internal legal team to optimize processes.
- Stay updated on legal developments and precedents.
- Maintain organized case files and communicate effectively with clients, including Spanish-speaking clients.
