About The Position
Hembree Bell Law Firm is a modern, strategic, and human-focused family law firm dedicated to helping clients navigate divorce, custody battles, and other family law matters. We aim to support clients through difficult times without compromising their sanity, children, or financial future. We are actively seeking a Spanish-speaking attorney who can confidently manage family law cases in Spanish, communicate directly with clients in their native language, and explain legal strategies clearly in both English and Spanish. The firm values its employees and believes that helping people should not lead to burnout, serious work does not require a miserable culture, and that growth, mentorship, and autonomy are important. The firm is based in Austin and San Antonio.
Requirements
- 3+ years of contested family law experience
- Active Texas Bar license
- Strong communication and courtroom presence
- Fluent Spanish (spoken and written)
- Experience handling family law cases in Spanish
- Ability to work directly with clients in Spanish
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload with strategy and ownership
- Represent clients in hearings, mediation, and trial
- Help families navigate high-stakes, emotional decisions
- Negotiate when possible, litigate when necessary
- Apply the Texas Family Code with confidence
- Be part of a team that works together, not in silos
Benefits
- Compensation $170,000 OTE
