About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney with 3-5 years of courtroom or litigation experience; family law experience is preferred but not required. The role involves negotiating, legal research, drafting documents, and court appearances. Collaboration with the managing attorney and clients is essential.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the state bar and in good standing
3-5 years of litigation experience
Strong negotiation skills with a record of successful settlements
Proficient in legal research and writing, familiar with Westlaw
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
Ethical commitment to client service and legal practice

Responsibilities

Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support issues
Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw
Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements
Negotiate settlements advocating for client interests
Stay current on laws and regulations affecting family law
Collaborate on complex family law cases
Provide guidance on divorce, custody, and support matters
Litigate in court as needed
Maintain strong client communication and support throughout legal processes
