About The Position

Youth Villages seeks a Family Intervention Specialist for its Intercept® program, an evidence-based, intensive in-home service designed to keep families together by preventing out-of-home placements or supporting reunification. The program serves youth from birth through age 18 who face serious emotional or behavioral challenges or have experienced trauma. Services are delivered in families’ homes and communities, not in an office, and provide tailored, strength-based support using evidence-based mental health interventions and parenting and communication skill development. The role includes ongoing assessment, collaboration with providers and other stakeholders, crisis support, and timely documentation. The schedule is flexible and non-traditional to accommodate families. Staff may drive 60 to 80 miles to meet with families, with additional travel possible; applicable mileage is reimbursed.
