About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Family/Internal Medicine Physician in Crescent City, CA. The role is in an outpatient setting and is for supplemental, clinical-only coverage on an ongoing basis. The physician will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient healthcare needs, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, managing patient care, and other related duties. The EMR system used is Epic, and chart closure is expected within 72 hours. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Active CA License
- BC/BE (FM/IM; If BE: within 5 yrs post residency)
- BLS, CPR
- DEA
- At least 3 yrs of experience in a similar setting (panel mgmt)
- Experience with Chronic Pain Management
- Current Immunizations (Flu Vaccine, TB Status/X-Ray etc)
- CVs need to have the month & date on their work experience & education w/all gaps in employment accounted for.
