About The Position

The Family Interaction Specialist joins The Buckeye Ranch’s Shared Services department and provides comprehensive service coordination, connecting children and families with essential community resources. Drawing on parenting education expertise spanning infancy through young adulthood, the specialist facilitates enhanced visitation for children in kinship or foster care to help maintain strong connections with their parents and communities. The role also provides individualized and group-based supervision, behavioral interventions, and leadership to foster a trauma-informed, supportive treatment environment. Compassionate, evidence-based practices are used to promote positive outcomes and long-term stability for children and families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Eligible for a Qualified Mental Health certification.
• Active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for children and families and connect them with essential community resources.
• Facilitate enhanced visitation for children in kinship or foster care, supporting connections with parents and communities.
• Provide parenting education relevant to children from infancy through young adulthood.
• Deliver individualized and group-based supervision and behavioral interventions.
• Provide leadership to promote a trauma-informed, supportive treatment environment.
