About The Position

Child Focus is seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional with a passion for supporting young children and families to serve as Family Engagement Manager. This position provides supervision and leadership to assigned Family Engagement Team members and oversees compliance with all applicable family engagement standards and program requirements. Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, and supporting Family Engagement staff, as well as coordinating and facilitating bi-weekly onboarding sessions. The Family Engagement Manager monitors, tracks, and analyzes statistical and programmatic goals to support continuous quality improvement and positive outcomes for children and families. This position also organizes the recruitment of Policy Council members, ensures compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, serves as a member of the Council, and presents monthly program updates. Additionally, the Family Engagement Manager coordinates volunteer services for the Early Head Start and Head Start programs and fosters meaningful partnerships throughout the community to strengthen services for children and families. The role represents Child Focus on local, state, and national boards, councils, and committees that advance and support issues impacting the children and families served.

Requirements

  • Must have no history of substantiated child abuse or neglect findings and have a satisfactory criminal record check in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, good driving record, have reliable transportation, and meet insurance coverage criteria.
  • Must register with OCCRRA upon hire.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • 2 years related experience.
