About The Position
The Family Development Specialist is responsible for the training, evaluation and screening of potential foster parents. This includes conducting orientation sessions, PRIDE training classes, individual assessment meetings and the completion of all required paperwork.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Work or a related field is required.
- Experience in child welfare is required, or assessment work (therapy, parenting classes, case management, etc) with adults.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children and families is preferred.
