About The Position

This position serves as the local organization bringing community partners together to develop, implement, and evaluate plans that address the serious challenges facing children and families in Muscogee County as part of the statewide Georgia Family Connections. Assists with the development and implementation of the Collaborative annual plan, including conducting an annual data review; budget preparation, management, and expense accountability; Assists with planning and coordinating monthly Collaborative meetings and with engaging community stakeholders in the work of the Collaborative. Oversees the planning, facilitation, communication, and coordination of services for the partners participating in the work. Prepares required reports and maintains all records for the Collaborative. Works effectively with a diverse range of individuals. Performs other related job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of planning and organizational techniques
  • Knowledge of basic marketing principles and practices
  • Knowledge of the methods of reviewing and evaluating work
  • Skill in negotiation
  • Skill in computer use and social media
  • Skill in interpersonal relations
  • Skill in oral and written communication
  • A bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required
  • Must be willing to travel a moderate amount within the region and state and participate in required meetings and training
  • Hours may include, after normal business hours, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends
  • Applicants must hold a regular driving license
  • Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
