Wake County is seeking a dedicated Family & Children Medicaid (FCMA) Supervisor to lead a team of eligibility caseworkers at our Departure Drive location within the Economic Services division. Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Three years of job-related experience
Knowledge and strong understanding of Medicaid policy
Ability to motivate, develop and direct employees as they work
Expertise in applying complex policy to determine client eligibility, instructing staff in determining eligibility and monitoring eligibility determinations
Ability to create a work environment that encourages staff to practice respect, demonstrate open communication and promote accountability
Expertise in providing guidance and feedback to help an employee or groups of employees strengthen their knowledge, skills and abilities to accomplish a task or solve a problem, which results in improving job performance
Ability to resolve conflict through open communication, collaboration, and building consensus
Ability to develop plans, to arrange work and use resources effectively
Knowledge of NCFast and document management systems

Nice To Haves

Three (3) years of experience in Case Management or two (2) years of team lead experience, or one (1) year of Supervision or Training in Family and Children's Medicaid
Intermediate to Advanced experience in NCFAST
Knowledge of Document Management Systems
Proficiency in MS Excel to create spreadsheets and work within existing spreadsheets
Current or previous experience working in a state or county Department of Social Services
