Family Centered Specialist

Sevita•Greenfield, MA

About The Position

The Bilingual Family-Centered Specialist works directly with children and youth ages 3–21 and their caregivers in homes and community settings as part of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI). In partnership with a Family-Centered Clinician (FCC), who creates the treatment plan, the specialist implements that plan by coaching caregivers, teaching practical skills, and supporting family stability and well-being. The role also supports families working with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) to achieve goals in official DCF service plans, helping prevent out-of-home placements or support youth transitioning back home. The position is community-based and primarily scheduled for afternoons and early evenings, with flexibility to meet family needs. Specialists are expected to maintain a target of 25 billable hours per week, typically serving approximately two families per day. A typical service episode lasts 9–12 weeks and focuses on stabilization. Compensation is listed as a $52,000 base, overtime eligible, with a $6,000 sign-on bonus.
