About The Position

Momentum Services, LLC is seeking a motivated Family Based Therapist who's looking for flexibility in their schedule and is passionate about helping others in a supportive, relaxed work environment. This position provides individual, parenting, family, and other as needed therapy sessions. Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a human service field and one year of work experience with children and/or families.
• FBI, PA Child Abuse, and Criminal background checks are required.
• Demonstrated clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills
• Must have the ability to provide excellent and compassionate service to families
• Time management and organizational skills
• Commitment to learn and attend regular trainings as assigned
• Ability to work independently and within a team structure
• Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality and flexibility
• Excellent communication skills with clientele and staff
• Independently motivated and able to work within a partnership
• Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions
• Passionate about serving the members of our community
• Local travel is required for sessions

Responsibilities

• Therapists work with the family to stabilize the child(ren) by increasing the quality of relationships and functioning within the family system and community.
• The Family Based therapists work as a team to provide therapy to children/youth and their families.
• As a team, the therapists provide a comprehensive 30-day initial assessment, family therapy, child individual therapy, sibling therapy, parenting sessions/support, case management & assistance/advocacy within the community.
• These services are provided in the home, school, and community.
• Each Family Based therapist takes part in an on-call rotation to provides crisis support for all the families in our Family Based program as needed.
• Specialized training is provided & required.
• Family Based Therapists must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
• Other duties as assigned
