Family Attorney
About The Position
Our law group is growing, and we are looking for a sharp family attorney who will zealously represent clients in all areas of family law. You’ll assist individuals in a variety of situations, such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues, such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent courtroom presence and legal writing skills.
- Strong communication and client relationship abilities.
- Confidence under pressure and compassion for people in crisis.
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with Family Law is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Draft motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and final orders.
- Guide clients through complex legal and emotional situations.
- Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys on case strategy.
- Oversee case files, track progress, and manage deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with clients and opposing counsel.
