Family Assistant/Household Manager

Sage Haus•Half Moon Bay, CA
•$40 - $45•Onsite

About The Position

We are a warm, active family with two elementary school-aged children and a full weekly rhythm of school, activities, appointments, work, pets, and time together. We enjoy welcoming friends and family into our home and value an environment that feels comfortable, organized, and easy to live in. One parent works outside the home several days each week, while the other is more present in the daily household routine. Scheduling and planning are shared responsibilities, and this role will communicate and collaborate equally with both parents. We are looking for someone who will learn our patterns, understand how our household operates, and help keep everyone informed without needing constant direction. Our children have distinct personalities. We want someone who can connect genuinely with both children as people and really get to know them. We are looking for someone who, over time, will become a trusted, familiar presence in their lives. Our ideal Family Assistant will bring constant steadiness and initiative to a busy household. By managing transportation, household details, appointments, errands, vendors, and childcare, this person will help create more space for family connection, travel, and time together.
