At Child Focus, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Advocate to join our Early Learning team. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in social work or related field
  • 2 years' experience with families and children ages birth to five
  • Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screening
  • Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Experience with recruitment and enrollment of children and families
  • Experience assessing family needs, goal setting, and making community referrals
  • Experience maintaining required follow-up and documentation

  • Ability to work cooperatively with other team members
  • Ability to meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Individual, family, and group therapy
  • Planning and implementing family events
  • Collaborating with community partners and attending community events
  • Recruitment and enrollment of children and families
  • Assessing family needs, goal setting, and making community referrals
  • Maintaining required follow-up and documentation
