The role involves conducting forensic interviews with children who have experienced alleged abuse, including sexual abuse, physical abuse, and exposure to violence such as domestic violence, gun violence, and homicide. The role also includes an on-call component. On-call shifts occur outside of regular business hours and are approximately 12–13 hours in duration. Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Provides general child and family advocacy, interventions, counseling support, and prevention services, as a part of a multidisciplinary team, for individuals and families at The Center For Family Safety and Healing.
