About The Position

We are looking for a versatile Buffet Food & Beverage Supervisor to support daily operations in our buffet restaurant and high-volume dining environment, along with conference/banquet facilities and related food and beverage hotel locations. This role ensures smooth service, strong team leadership, and exceptional guest experiences across all areas, with a focus on maintaining buffet presentation, food quality, and efficient guest flow.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in buffet-style or high-volume restaurant operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computerized Point of Sales systems is an asset.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality guest service.
  • Strong attention to detail in food presentation, portion control, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front-of-house buffet staff, ensuring service and safety standards.
  • Train, coach, and motivate associates; ensure proper company and property grooming and uniform standards.
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll support, and administrative tasks.
  • Oversee buffet set-up, replenishment, and breakdown, ensuring food is consistently fresh, well-presented, and meets health and safety standards.
  • Monitor food levels and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely replenishment during service.
  • Assign daily duties to buffet staff and act as on-site contact internal departments.
  • Communicate with kitchen to ensure seamless service.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of buffet stations, dining areas, and service stations at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
