The Role Bexorg is seeking a proactive and organized Operations Intern to support daily laboratory and operational activities across our fast-paced R&D environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and creating efficient systems that help teams operate smoothly. The Operations Intern will play a key role in organizing laboratory inventory systems, implementing RFID-based inventory tracking, maintaining operational workflows, and supporting general lab logistics. This position offers exposure to startup operations, laboratory organization, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration within a cutting-edge biotechnology company. We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable individual who is excited to contribute to building scalable operational infrastructure in a growing scientific organization.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Operations, Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable performing hands-on work, including organizing inventory, receiving shipments, and maintaining laboratory spaces.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in laboratory operations, inventory management, logistics, facilities, or administrative support.
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems, asset management software, or RFID technology.
  • Experience working in a startup, research, healthcare, biotechnology, or laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain inventory management systems, including organizing storage areas and implementing RFID-based asset tracking.
  • Receive, organize, label, and stock incoming packages, laboratory supplies, and operational materials.
  • Support daily operational and laboratory tasks to ensure smooth facility workflows.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of laboratory and shared workspaces.
  • Conduct routine inventory checks and help maintain accurate inventory records and supply levels.
  • Assist with workspace optimization, storage organization, and operational improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with Operations and R&D teams to support evolving company and laboratory needs.
