Be a team; we are united to drive collective impact to achieve our goals. We are currently hiring an intern looking for a fall term position, September to December 2026 in our Toronto office. Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and plan to return to school after completing the internship to be eligible to apply. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Windows Platform Intern located in our Toronto office to support and maintain enterprise applications running on Windows-based servers. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and operational readiness of business-critical applications, rather than administering the underlying server infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Registered students returning to school in 2026 in a related field (BCom, BA, BSc, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, judgment & decision-making skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and prioritize time-sensitive deadlines
  • A genuine interest in technology and a strong desire to learn about enterprise applications and the Windows server environment.
  • A basic grasp of IT concepts such as software updates, data backup, and system maintenance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python from class projects.
  • Familiarity with virtual machines (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Any previous customer service or technical support experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing our critical enterprise applications on Windows platforms, helping to ensure they remain stable, responsive, and up-to-date.
  • Support the team in planning and executing application upgrades, gaining hands-on experience in coordinating seamless transitions with minimal disruption.
  • Participate in the deployment of application updates and patches, learning the end-to-end process for maintaining our software lifecycle.
  • Learn to conduct daily health checks on our application ecosystem, helping to monitor performance and ensure consistent availability.
  • Help identify and troubleshoot application performance issues alongside senior team members to improve availability and user experience.
  • Explore opportunities to improve efficiency by identifying manual tasks that could be streamlined with AI-powered automation.
  • Gain exposure to enterprise security by assisting with tasks that ensure our applications align with internal security standards.
  • Contribute to our knowledge base by helping to document application configurations, changes, and support procedures.
