Corporate Treasury (CT) offers a comprehensive view of the entire Enterprise, managing enterprise-wide capital, liquidity, non-trading interest rate risk, and pension assets, while also executing term funding, capital, and interest rate risk hedging transactions. This role provides an opportunity to work within both the Capital and Liquidity functions of CT. Capital Measurement, under Financial Resource Optimization (FRO), is responsible for managing capital resources to support RBC’s strategic objectives, including the measurement, monitoring, and forecasting of risk-weighted assets, leverage, and capital metrics. FRO collaborates with various internal groups to deploy capital and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Liquidity Measurement focuses on managing RBC’s liquidity risk prudently and cost-effectively, against both regulatory and internal targets, and in line with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Corporate Treasury also develops strategies and contingency plans for liquidity risk. As a Data and Product Analyst student, you will work with the Capital and Liquidity Data, Systems, and Business Solutions teams, supporting Product Owners with the existing infrastructure platform and its upgrades driven by key regulatory and strategic initiatives.
