Fall Adjunct Faculty - Nursing Simulation Lab
About The Position
NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to oversee open simulation lab periods for NHTI�s nursing courses. These courses provide students with essential knowledge in a pathway leading to a career as a registered nurse (RN), enabling them to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. The role involves supporting the nursing program in the educational and technical functions of NHTI�s nursing simulation lab, serving as a primary resource for students during open lab hours, and assisting in student preparation. The adjunct faculty will support students in achieving learning outcomes aligned with program outcomes, provide regular feedback, and maintain accurate records of student lab use and progress. Additionally, the role includes assisting the nursing department with the coordination of simulation and skills lab activities to ensure a learner-centered simulation experience.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate in nursing with successful matriculation in a graduate or doctoral program having met generalist requirements for a BSN or MS degree, three years of teaching preferred, and clinical experience in the area of anticipated teaching assignment; or Master�s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major study in Nursing, three years of teaching experience preferred.
- Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.
