The New York City Mayor’s Office of Mass Engagement (OME) is responsible for strategizing, coordinating, and executing on engagement that reaches the masses of everyday New Yorkers. We engage New Yorkers in shaping policy outcomes, demystifying government, and ensuring that the government remains accountable to serving the people of this great City. Our work is designed as a long term project – we are building the power of everyday New Yorkers and we are building a City that works for all of us. The Faith Based Partnerships Program Coordinator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: executing and overseeing daily administrative activities of the Office of Faith Based Partnerships, generating briefings, talking points, conflict of interest board filings and project-related documents, such as meeting agendas, minutes and week in reviews, working with other staff to help identify and maintain organizing opportunities in faith communities, ensuring follow-up on constituent cases when relevant, helping move Office of Mass Engagement (OME) initiatives forward at the direction of the OME’s First Deputy Commissioner and Executive Director of Faith Based Partnerships, and providing additional support as necessary.
