Director of Cultural Faith Based Empowerment Program
About The Position
Envision Unlimited, founded in 1948 in Chicago, provides a full spectrum of care for individuals with disabilities ranging in age from infancy to 80+. They serve all individuals regardless of race, gender, religion, or ability to pay. Their innovative services span Chicagoland and Central Illinois and include community living, day programs, behavioral health, employment services, family respite, foster care, and Supportive Housing. The Director of Cultural Faith-Based Empowerment Program will lead a community-centered mental health program partnering with faith-based organizations and underserved communities. This role involves supervising outreach staff, strengthening access to care, reducing stigma, and building strong provider and community relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Psychology, Social Work, or related field)
- 5+ years mental health experience
- 1+ year supervisory experience
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities
- Lead program operations, compliance, and reporting
- Supervise staff, interns, and contractors
- Build partnerships with faith leaders and mental health providers
- Oversee referrals and coordinated access to services
- Deliver training and community presentations
