About The Position

Jabil is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician to work at its CVG200 building in Florence, Kentucky. The role provides technical training and support for debugging processes, with an emphasis on improving production efficiency and quality through troubleshooting and defect analysis instruction. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (shift 404), with a 15% shift differential. The role requires flexibility to work this shift; specific hours are to be discussed.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in debugging, testing, or technical support roles.
Experience training or mentoring others on technical subjects.
Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work the 404 shift.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing technicians on debugging methods, tools, and best practices.
Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to production staff during debugging activities.
Analyze defect data and identify failure root causes to improve training content and production processes.
Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and practical exercises.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to standardize debugging procedures and improve troubleshooting effectiveness.
Evaluate technician performance after training and provide constructive feedback.
Operate and maintain debugging equipment and tools, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Document training activities, trainee progress, and debugging process improvements.
Follow safety protocols and company policies.
