New College Graduate Failure Analysis Engineer
About The Position
Renesas is seeking an enthusiastic, fast-learning individual to join their Failure Analysis Team as an Associate Failure Analysis Engineer in their Palm Bay, Florida office. The organization is responsible for root cause failure analysis of Renesas’ products, collaborating with other teams across the world. As a new team member, you will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and technicians on analyzing, root causing, and reporting on a variety of semiconductor products. You can expect to learn the basic failure analysis flows and gain experience with the use of optical and acoustic microscope, 3D x-ray tomography, photon emission and thermal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and a variety of lab bench instrumentation. This equipment will be used to support both customers in the field as well as new product development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience with electrical bench or instrument control work is ideal.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be an initiative-taking team player who is able to take direction, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively.
- US citizen or a green card is required.
Responsibilities
