In this role, you'll work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with industry leaders. Your customers will include top manufacturers and engineering firms such as Ford, GM, Caterpillar, John Deere, Rivian, Tesla, Lucid Motors, Karma and many more! Your Role as a Technical Support Specialist You’ll play a key role in commissioning, integration, customer support, and training. Our application engineers are not only technically skilled but also strong communicators and problem-solvers - qualities we value in our next team member. This position is based in our Montreal office (85%), with occasional travel (15%) to customer sites, including the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience (internships count!).
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Strong command of English and French.
  • Passion for problem-solving, ability to thrive under pressure, and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FPGA and VHDL programming.
  • Familiarity with Automotive Standards & Protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with Embedded systems and hardware, such as microcontrollers, ECUs, FPGA, DSPs, Power electronics (DC-DC converters, inverters, motor controllers), Sensors and actuators (LiDAR, radar, cameras, IMUs).
  • Experience with Simulation & Testing Tools.
  • Knowledge about Powertrain & Electrification, such as EV battery management systems (BMS), motor control algorithms (FOC, DTC) and charging infrastructure (AC/DC fast charging, V2G concepts).
  • Ability to create great ‘memes’ in under 10 seconds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system commissioning at customer sites.
  • Integrate our products into customer environments.
  • Provide technical support for our electronic products and software.
  • Conduct internal testing to ensure reliability and performance.
