The Department of Management within the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Kent State University seeks qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Management effective August 19, 2027. The successful candidate will be passionate about their research area and a productive research portfolio of high-quality research publishable in top-tier Management, OB, HRM, Strategy, or IB journals (e.g., FT50 and UT Dallas journal rankings) on OB/HR topics. Candidates must have demonstrable research interest (or aptitude) and a strong research record (or agenda) in OB/HR by the time of employment, with evidence of on-going and future research accomplishments including publications and presentations. The candidate will primarily teach OB/HR courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs such as human resource management, organizational behavior, organizational mentoring, human resource management analytics, staffing, performance and compensation, and other management courses as needed and depending on the qualifications of the candidate. For tenure-track faculty, engaging in service, commensurate with experience, to the institution and their academic field is expected. The teaching load is 2/2 for the entire probationary period of a new tenure-track faculty member.
