About The Position

KENT STATE UNIVERSITY SEEKING A CANDIDATE FOR A NON-TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION WITH EXPERIENCE IN MED/SURG AND CRITICAL CARE FOR THE BSN PROGRAM AT THE SALEM CAMPUS.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Master's degree in a nursing field
• Two to five years of experience in Med/Surg and Critical Care nursing
• Current valid nursing license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
• Previous teaching and/or clinical experience

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D.

Responsibilities

• Teach Med/Surg and Critical Care nursing for the BSN program.
• Provide clinical instruction and supervision.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of the nursing curriculum.
• Participate in faculty meetings and university service activities.
• Maintain current knowledge and skills in nursing practice and education.
