The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota Medical School is seeking a full-time pathologist with expertise in gynecologic and breast pathology. This position is on the Academic/Clinician Track, with academic rank, compensation, and appointment type determined by qualifications and experience. The role requires demonstrated ability in teaching and scholarly productivity. The successful candidate will join a team providing pathology services at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center East and West and the Masonic Children’s Hospital. Responsibilities include sign-out, intraoperative consultations, autopsy service, and supervision of residents and fellows, shared among the surgical pathology faculty. Opportunities for leadership in education or digital pathology are available for qualified individuals. Academic time will be dedicated to scholarly work in the candidate's specialty or research area. Preferred candidates will be active in national organizations and contribute to an academic environment for students, residents, fellows, and faculty.
