Under the supervision of the Director of Occupational Therapy, the faculty member performs teaching, service, and research duties in the occupational therapy field. This role involves assisting the university and department in implementing plans, maintaining professional standards, and supporting recruitment and admissions. The faculty member will provide academic advising, ensure students meet fieldwork requirements, and utilize active learning strategies to teach Master of Occupational Therapy learners. Service to the university and profession is expected, along with demonstrating knowledge of curriculum design with regard to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, mentoring students on scholarly projects, and demonstrating ongoing scholarly achievement and research expertise.
