The Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center (MCCCC) are seeking open-rank faculty positions for Early Cancer Detection and Interception roles. These positions require strong leadership potential and a commitment to advancing cancer research into clinical impact. Mayo Clinic and MCCCC have established a significant research hub focused on transforming cancer patient care through actionable target discovery and next-generation discovery and therapeutic platforms. This includes the Mayo Clinic Platform, which holds extensive digitized patient records, and robust AI-driven discovery, translational, and clinical programs. The Cancer Risk Assessment, Early Detection, and Interception (REDI) Research Program is a key initiative. These roles will lead transformative efforts from discovery to clinical science in cancer early detection, prevention, and data-driven translation. The focus is on integrating discovery and translational science, clinical care, genomics, advanced analytics, and community engagement to redefine cancer detection, monitoring, and prevention, with a particular emphasis on cancer interception – delaying or preventing cancer development or progression in pre-cancer and high-risk populations.
