Faculty Physician - Urologic Oncology
About The Position
The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Urology are seeking a Urologic Oncologist. This position offers ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor and involves practice in Bridgeport, WV, and Morgantown, WV. The role includes practicing in Urologic Oncology, providing excellent patient care, and actively teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The WVU Cancer Institute, including the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center (MBRCC), is a multidisciplinary care center and a quaternary cancer center with advanced programs. The Health System has expanded specialty care and operates West Virginia's first and only multi-organ transplant center and a Children's Hospital. WVU Medicine is a large health system with a significant number of licensed beds, providers, and employees, anchored by an academic medical center in Morgantown.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical license.
- Completed a Urology residency program.
- Completed a Urologic Oncology fellowship program.
- Board certified / eligible in Urologic Oncology.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of Urologic Oncology.
