About The Position
Hartford HealthCare is seeking an Academic/Faculty Internal Medicine Physician for a Full-time teaching position with our Outpatient Internal Medicine Faculty Clinic in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This large, teaching, outpatient clinic adjacent to St. Vincent’s Medical Center cares for adult patients and is affiliated with the Netter’s School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Candidates interested in resident teaching are strongly preferred. St. Vincent’s Medical Center, in partnership with Southwest Family Health Center, is seeking a Primary Care Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency Program clinic in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician interested in teaching, mentorship, and academic medicine while maintaining a strong clinical focus—without the responsibility of managing an independent patient panel. Faculty physicians oversee patient care in collaboration with internal medicine residents and play a key role in shaping the next generation of physicians within a supportive, academically rich environment.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
- Interest in academic medicine and community-based care
