We uphold a values-based culture focused on excellence, integrity, and collaboration. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Electrical Lineman to join our faculty as a 12-month instructor. This position is responsible for delivering hands-on and classroom instruction to students pursuing careers in the electrical line industry. The ideal candidate will bring real-world experience, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman lineman
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and safety practices
- Ability to operate and demonstrate industry equipment
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in electrical linework, including safety, climbing, equipment operation, and maintenance
- Provide hands-on training in lab and field environments
- Develop and update curriculum to meet industry standards
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Maintain a safe and organized training environment
- Collaborate with industry partners and advisory boards
- Support student recruitment, retention, and placement efforts
