About The Position

Morehouse College seeks a Postdoctoral Faculty Fellow to advance the Morehouse HEP Program through teaching, academic advising, student mentoring, and oversight of day-to-day operations and educational programming in multiple correctional facilities, including the Federal Correctional Institution in Atlanta (FCI - ATL) and several state facilities. This person will serve as the primary liaison between the Morehouse HEP Program and incarcerated students and staff across all partner institutions. This is a two-year, non-renewable Postdoctoral position carrying both faculty and staff responsibilities within the Andrew Young Center at Morehouse College.

Requirements

  • PhD or terminal degree in their discipline
  • Administrative experience
  • Experience teaching or coordinating educational programming in carceral facilities
