The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice (SCCJ) in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University (ASU) is seeking applications for Faculty Associate positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. These are fixed-term, one-semester renewable appointments for teaching one or two courses (up to 0.40 FTE) per semester, either in-person or online. Faculty Associates are not eligible for benefits, sabbaticals, or tenure. Salary is determined by qualifications and teaching load. Official transcripts are required before employment. Individuals hired as Faculty Associates cannot hold multiple non-benefits eligible appointments at ASU. The positions require teaching in-person courses on ASU campuses (Downtown Phoenix, Tempe, Glendale) or online. Faculty Associates must use a lead syllabus and/or course shell template with required materials and assignments for consistency across course sections.
