The GAME School on the Tempe campus at Arizona State University invites applications for Faculty Associates to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses online and/or on-campus in: game engine or media arts programming, visuals scripting in game engines, python programming for media arts, game physics and mathematics, game design and production fundamentals, and audio visual technologies. These positions are one-semester appointments, part-time, non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications. A typical Faculty Associate course load is one to two classes per semester. Teaching duties include: preparing course materials, responding to and evaluating student work, and availability for one-one assistance (via weekly office hours for on-campus classes and electronically for online classes). The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load. Anticipated start date is: Fall 2026 or Spring 2027, session A, B and/or C.
