About The Position

The Factory Team Leader supports the Supervisor in leading, guiding, and mentoring of team members. This role is responsible for leading the production operators and technicians, assuring safe, high-quality, complete-on-time delivery of KONE components. The Team Leader acts as the first interface between workers and the Supervisor.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience of manufacturing/operational process.
Solid experience in production processes and in managing and leading people in standard or special production.
Good knowledge about the processes in component installation for a better understanding of the customer and quality needs.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
High school degree.
Basic English knowledge.
Computer skills – MS Office and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead production operatives
Studies production schedules and estimates work hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
Drives safety, productivity and quality in production with supervisor.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
Maintains production records.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Allocates operatives to work stations in cooperation with production supervisor.
Trains operatives to new tasks.
Works closely with the supervisor to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
