About The Position

Help accelerate the transition to a decarbonized economy by strengthening the quality of High Voltage Instrument Transformers across North America. In this role, you will bring our Quality strategy to life translating vision into consistent ways of working that elevate customer satisfaction, reduce risk, and continuously improve performance. You will join Hitachi Energy’s High Voltage Products team, partnering closely with operating unit leaders, regional stakeholders, and a global manufacturing network. By staying close to customers and listening to evolving needs, you will help ensure products, services, and solutions deliver the reliability and resilience modern grids demand. This is a highly collaborative, high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting strategy to execution, shaping a customer-centric culture, and building momentum through continuous improvement. Your work will influence how quality is governed, assured, and improved across the value chain creating measurable outcomes and a strong sense of purpose every day.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations and quality processes.
  • Experience deploying business or quality strategies in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead in both direct and functional roles.
  • Proven skill addressing quality issues quickly to protect customer satisfaction.
  • Certification or hands-on experience with continuous improvement (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt or higher).

Responsibilities

  • Implement and govern the Business Unit Quality vision, strategy, and goals.
  • Partner with leaders to align quality priorities with business objectives.
  • Strengthen a customer-centric quality culture with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Deploy and sustain Quality Management Systems across the value chain.
  • Lead quality assurance with a strong focus on risk prevention and lifecycle quality.
  • Drive improvement actions to raise performance and keep products competitive.
  • Connect regional selling units, global supplying units, and customers on quality topics.
  • Capture local market requirements and share learnings across the global network.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
